Anybody else finding the need to turn the news off when it comes on?

Same old s**t, different day.

Boris Johnson's alleged parties, the odious Starmer falling over himself to slag off the PM and his government, aided and abetted by the foul mouthed shadow deputy whatever her name is! Constantly whining about the alleged drinks parties. Bet he's creaming himself now the Mets got involved.
Hang on a minute! The Russians are amassing thousands of troops on the Ukrainian border, tensions are rising with the possibility of GB being drawn into a potential conflict and all Starmer and his henchwoman are concerned about is a gathering which allegedly happened in Downing Street! Just shows where Starmers national priorities lie.
 
So so so tired of the lack of real new NEWS.

Starmer is simply Captain Hindsight with no vision ...............

It would be really easy for this to trigger a rant!

What a shambolic pile of lefties the BBC are.... So, on occasion I'll give ITV a go. The fact that that Tom Bradby chap gives his opinionated sneers, sighs and eye rolls makes me want to smash up the telly! So flick back to BBC to find Laura Kuenssbwrg doing her best to persuade Bojo to confess to party rings at number 10 for the 5th night in a row!...............

how anyone thinks this current lot are the better option is beyond me. especially if they're from further north than Watford - how's the 'levelling up' going in West Yorkshire, cos they can't even be bothered to fix the pot holes in the roads here...

I really don't know why normal people think a bunch of old Etonians (some of which have more personal wealth than the queen) have their best interests at heart?

@Molldog personally i'm far more concerned about our law breaking PM than going to war over the Ukraine.
(clue: we'll not be going to war cos Johnson's up to his grubby, greedy neck in Russian money)

anyway, politics aint allowed on here for a reason...

I have an ABT e-Transporter and can’t get North of the M27, so baffled by whatever you're on about!:D

yeah you were right about it triggering a rant!! :laugh:
just annoyed with 'them' - I can't understand how we let them get away with it...

maybe the e-Transporters the answer and I can live in bliss not being able to leave my village
 
Having seen Peter Mandelson and his Brazilian pal in their boxer shorts at 6am I can confirm those in power are all arse twitching stiff necks....

Ha!!

I agree with @mulldog (in a neutrally political manner) that the news is not focussed on what is important and seem hellbent on steering viewers towards their own agenda!
This said, I watch channel 4 news from time to time and feel it is less biased.

BTW I don't really have an e-Transporter but could see this thread going pear shaped, so thought I'd steer the argument to my own agenda. (Aka doing a Cummins!)
