No central locking

Hi,

After long search for a van I found one that ticked a lot of boxes but in the proces I didn’t see that the van has no central locking. So I have to unlock each door individually. I was not expecting that from a 2019 model. But since everything else was good I bought it anyway.

After searching around I haven’t found any aftermarket solution for un upgrade. Has anyone have any idea or solution? Thanks.

You sure it has no central locking is there no buttons on the keys we've never seen one without it even on a builders spec van?

I was as surprised as you. There is a lock on every door handle. And just “ordinary” key.

I got an ordinary key with my Startline - called a surf key.

Does turning one of the locks unlock all the doors? Are there a lock / unlock buttons on the inside top of the drivers door?

Each door is opened individually and no buttons on the control unit for windows and mirrors.

What about electric windows in driver and passenger doors?

If you get a chance a VCDS Scan would be interesting to have a peek - to see if the central electronics controller possibly has components of central locking.

I’m from Slovenia. I imported the van from Germany from the first owner that was a company for distributing tobacco products

The button for central locking isn’t there. It would be above the mirror control. So my guess is the van doesn’t have central locking. Bizarre.

T6.1 but the T6 also has the central lock button.

It is bizarre yes. Trying to figure out what could I do install it.

Hi, did you manage to find a solution?
I have the same problem with a 2019 T6.1 and really want to add central locking without alarm from the inside. Or at least I want to lock my tailgate door while sleeping…

Hi, no solution so far, I got used to it somehow. There is an aftermarket solution but I don’t know cost.

So you also don't lock the tailgate while sleeping?
