Newbie Again!!

Hi All,
New to the camper van life but back in the day, my Dad owned a new spilt screen VW had many great holidays as a kid in Europe. Taken the plunge and hoping to collect a 2017 T6 T28 this Friday. Still trying to get my head around Van insurance, its worst then trying to insure a modified car!
Looking forward to seeing what other conversion vans look like on the forum to give me some ideas.

It sounds like you are going to convert it yourself / get it converted. You can get an insurance policy which covers the vehicle as it goes from van to camper van. We used A-Plan for this - we had 12 months to get it converted, then the price went down the following year once it was a camper van.

Thanks for the tip, I found a similar company, but only gave 90 days to complete the conversion.

Thanks for heads up on A Plan, contacted them on Thursday PM received a call from them on Friday morning by lunchtime Van insured, and collected from the garage by 3pm...…. Job done. Thanks for the good advice.
