I am considering fitting some 17" Devonport wheels on my 2016 T6 Transporter which currently has 16" steel wheels. Would this make any difference to the speedometer etc, would it be alright to fit a 16"wheel in the event of a puncture when the other three would be 17"? Thanks. Ian.

The T6 would of come with either the 16" steels or 17" Ports, so yes all will be fine to fit and the speedo isn't ever that spot on anyway, so I doubt you notice any difference.

As for using a 16" as a spare. I have 18" and 19" wheels for summer and winter, and I use a 17" steel as a spare. So unless it's a 4motion, in which case I'm not sure, I wouldn't have an issue in your situation.

Lastly, who swaps steel for alloy....

FWIW
I have 20” rims on my T6 and the speedo reads 3mph slow at 70 according to my Sat Nag ( in a straight line)

It’s hardly worth bothering about getting it adjusted.
