New Tyres Recommendations

Hi all, my 2 front continentals on my Devonports are near replacing, anyone else changed tyre brands instead of the 215/60/17 Contis just looking at the maxxiss any reviews are welcome on others to replace

I’ve just fitted some Bridgestone all season tyres and so far so good, though apart from water clearing capabilities not been properly tested.

Used to have 2 sets of wheels for the tintop and run winters. Much less phaff with these - no swapping / storage worries. Last year I was fitting the winters with 3” of snow all around!

Whatever tyres for go for, swap the wheels front to back so that the new ones are on the rear.

I'm just about to replace a set of Maxxis tyres on my work van.

They have been brilliant and not too expensive.

Likewise, I run both winter and summer Maxxis tyres. Had no issues with either. For the cost of the Primitra HP5, they seem to get reviews that worry premium brands in some areas.
