New T6 Owner

Hi just got my T6 Highline Kombi on Tuesday and love it, but Im trying to find out how to set the central locking to lock when you drive off, my old Vivaro locked after going above 5mph, can I set this the same?

Also How do I pull the mirrors in, I think they are electric, there is a symbol for heated and retract but cant get it to work, the book isnt that clear

Hi @Jamroller with regard getting it to lock when you get over 10mph you need to program the vehicle using either VCDS or Carista. Easy couple of minute job for someone who has the kit.

As above VCDS (about £250) or carista (about £20) can activate the autolock.

Thanks, I like the Blackberry too, I wasn't sure about the blue at first but the vehicle has such a good specification I decided to go for it and glad I did , love the colour now

Hadthe bus in to the local VW Audi specialist and they have programmed the auto locking £25+ vat, amazes me why VW dont have this setup from the start but hey ho, thanks for the help

Was cheesed off I had to have it done, why dont VW have the auto locking feature turned on, these where the cheapest nearby I get the vat back so £25, not sure ill be going back, but the auto lock now works so when I pull up at traffic lights I haven't got the risk of anyone nicking my stuff out the back

Im in Hull East Yorks, not had it happen but theres alway a first time, van crime is rife in the UK at the moment, there have been instances in rural locations of people being dragged from their vans after been stopped down a small rural road or lane, threatened and they then drive off in your pride and joy, happens in Lincs quite a bit, luckily its not too bad here but elsewhere vans are getting targeted.
I just wanted to make sure when im driving the doors are locked, I can go in some rough areas at times and you never know with a opportunist thief who will open a door grab something and run off
