Hi, just wondering what people's views are on pop tops. Recommendations for a pop top and installer would be appreciated. We are in Doncaster. Personally I like the look of the Reimo because of the wind deflector at the front, it just blends in really well but it's expensive and I am a Yorkshireman lol. I'm definitely wanting a bi fold bed as we are having u shape conversion so extra headroom would be beneficial.

We have a Reimo Easyfit, not cheap, but has given nearly 8 years of faultless service. No leaks or rattles, just starting to show some corrosion on the hinges. I’m also a tight (Barnsley) Yorkshire man, it isn’t about not spending the money, it’s about getting the maximum value for what you shell out.
I wouldn’t hesitate to have a Reimo on our next van. BUT!! Bear in mind, the roof is only as good as the fitter.

I have recently had a Storm pop-top fitted and could not be happier with it. It was done at Limitless Campers in Driffield, so not too far from Doncaster. They will work with you to suit your budget and needs. The headroom inside the van is a game changer for me and I got the extra sliding cover too, so when it’s all down it more or less looks like a normal van from the inside. I looked at several and decided to spend a bit more and I’m so glad I did.

Also have a Reimo Easifit, almost 8 years old. As with all GRP, make sure the paint is done by a specialist in GRP and they bake it well before and after painting.
You get what you pay for with pop tops, none are cheap but there are some that are far better quality than others. Replacing or even repairing at a later date is expensive

First job done on the van.
We went to Storm pop tops in Bristol for this job done. Absolutely first class service from Lee and his team at Storm, and all at a very good price.
Solar panel and Remio awning rail also fitted.

How you finding it so far? I'm trying to decide between Storm and Cosmic for a Storm roof but Storm is coming in 700 quid cheaper.

Storm did a first class job on my van.
Storm sometimes have offers on so it's worth checking their website.
The reason I went to Storm in Bristol was down to cost, as getting a Storm poptop fitted locally was approximately £1500 more expensive.

Yeah thats what i am finding, though Cosmic are only a few hundred quid more now... its an hour to Bristol, or two hours to Cosmic where ill be near Swindon in June.

Looks great :) Any increased wind noise?

It was a 41/2 hour drive for us and we booked into the Shepherds huts on the farm @ £60 per night, 2 minute walk from dropping off the van. I'm pretty sure storm can do the poptop in a day if it's there for 07.30.
I had solar panel and Remio awning rail fitted so that took longer.
