I've recently collected my new van, a 2021 T6.1 Highline, in grey. I've already spent a lot of time looking through posts here and thought it was time to join.
Someone had already started conversion, so it has side windows, carpeted, captain seats, rear spoiler and awning rails. Otherwise it's a blank canvas. I'm not convinced on the quality of the sound deadening and insulation so may have to investigate.
Feeling a bit overwhelmed regarding all the options and order to do things. Pretty sure I know I want a scenic pop top, but unsure if to sleep up top or have something downstairs. We've no need for rear passengers so still undecided on the layout but leaning towards a U-Shape. Will want windows in the rear barn doors too.
We're at a festival next weekend, so for now it's going to be a mattress in the bank with camping lights, but excited to start the conversion and will be looking forward to making use of this excellent forum.
