Personally i would just have a good look around the body work, what else can you do? Not worth checking the tyre tread

Check that the fuel gauge , make sure they give you a tank full. The least they can do when you spend big money on these vans. Every vehicle I buy new I make sure the tank is full. Make sure you upload some pics for us all
Depending on the colour, as mentioned above, check over the paintwork.
If it's a dark colour, the dealer can wreck the paintwork with a poor valet. They often marr the paintwork, creating awful holograms, and swirls that are very obvious on a darker colour and will drive you nuts once the sun comes out. Lighter colours like Silver or White tend not to show these problems (lucky sods)

Picked it up Thursday, I have ha many new vans , But this 204 dsg is unbelievable to drive,it was terrible weather in Scunthorpe when I picked it up, bad fog and roads frozen, but enjoyed 40 drive home to beverley. All modifications were done and pre order upgrades are super, ie comfort dash, electric side doors and tailgate, moxtion bulkhead, roof rails , side bars , full carpets and sound proofing , leather seats and media system. Very happy with everything, pictures to follow when snow cleared.Oh.... ok

Thanks Fish, To say I’m happy is an understatement, we bought two vans at the same time so got a cracking deal, my business partner is loving his, he wanted to go for manual until we test drives the dsg, he is already saying he loves how easy it and great to drive. Happy
I remember that feeling.. and the ease of driving DSG is fantastic. Think the only thing I want to do is a re-map to make it alittle smoother..
Just hope now it pulls my 2 tonne caravan at Easter break

This question comes up a fair amount, and as @Fish said, easily.
All T6s have the weight to pull any Caravan. The 204 will pull it up a mountain without breaking a sweat.

I have had Ford ranger from new , Vito , Toyota , Mitsubishi l20 and bmw, it’s surpasses them by a mile .
