New Drl Lights Pulsing

i finally got round to fitting my drl headlights today. Only to find when I had full beam on the dip bulb and full beam are on but the dip beam bulb seems to be pulsing for want of a better word which was really annoying. Has this happened to anyone else or is there anything I’m doing wrong.

No idea about these lights or how they are hooked up, but pulsing lights (electrics generally) are often connected with a poor earth connection.
