Hi, I have a rock and roll bed with a bar at the front as well as a pull handle to the right.
As I understood it from the seller, I push the bar to the left to ‘release’ the bed and lie on it to lock it into the flat position using just my weight.
I then pull the handle to unlock the bed again and push it back to the seat position.
Question is, a couple of nights ago, the pull handle came off as we pulled it. It was a 5 inch threaded bolt and a spring. I’ve reconnected it to the loose bar under the bed and it releases the bed fine.
However, the bed doesn’t lock flat in the bed position anymore without us trying around half a dozen times and pulling the handle as well (which we never had to do before)
Does anyone know if a) we’re doing it wrong or b) have we damaged something?
