My Transporter T6

Welcome aboard.

An interesting setup you have there - u-shaped seating with what appear to be seatbelts on the rear bench. How many belted seats do have on the rear bench and are the side benches moveable/removeable so rear passengers have somewhere for their legs?

Thanks the cushion on the offside lifts out then the frame hinges down for seating so 2 adults can sit comfortably

Not seen such a setup before. Is it a self-design/self-build or an off-the shelf purchase?

It is built by a company called Roam Systems and is a very strong frame. I have had the short wheel base set up even though my van is LWB so I have more room for a kitchen

Guessing you're mid-build - when you aiming to get out & about camping?

I bought the van late last year after looking for one of the spec I wanted for 6 months so I am in not rushing the build just making sure I have exactly what we want in it. I already have holidays planned from before we bought the van but we are going in this now then carry on with the build in June when we get back from them. I intend to keep the van for a long time and have kept some money aside for a replacement engine in future if needed because I bought a 204bhp one. I did know what I was buying but seems ok for now and we love the power and comfort of it

Sounds like a sensible approach. 👍

Maybe see you around at one of the forum gatherings - great craic if that's your sort of thing. 🗣️🍺🍕🍺🎶🍺🥳🍺🍺🍺🥴
