Mud Flap Recommendations LWB Twin Doors

Just wondering if there was some good recommendations for front and rear mudflaps for a T6.1 LWB Twin rear door?

Of course, No van to fit them too as of yet still!

On my T6 fitted OEM fronts. Rears fit along the bumper a bit so not protecting all of it and they fix by drilling the bumper - I didn’t bother with rears!

Could be different on the T6.1 of course.

I bought a set of these a while ago, they fit reasonably well, only modification I would do is to drill a hole to let water out of the well that it has that collects crap running down the arch liner, but I suspect that OEM are the same.

The crap from the rear wheels only really gets as far as the sides of the rear bumper. OEM ones are set back, so don't protect the part of the bumper that gets the battering anyway. The front ones will protect the leading edge of your side bars (if you have any), that's about it.

I always used to have mudflaps because my Dad did in the 70's. The reality is, most of the crap flying around is from turbulent air sucking debris up from underneath the vehicle and spray from other vehicles.

My main reason for the fronts is to protect the sills from stone chips and potential rust. Again, not so bothered about the plastic rear bumper.

Same here, the fronts are definitely a priority

Rears would be nice but not sure on drilling the rear bumper as the oem require, would prefer a wheel arch fit if possible

Just fitted a set that @Grim Reaper has recommended, so easy to fit ,look OEM and pleasing on the eyes.

Morning, No i purchased them last year in readiness for the van and i can't remember where i got them from ( no fun getting old can't remember jack shit ! ).
