Mot time and thq v2 headlights.

Hi,its nearly mot time for my bus. The question is will it pass with the thq v2 headlights with "normal" bulbs fitted?. I run with hid bulbs in but im taking them out for the mot to be on the safe side. Its going into preston van centre.

Mine passed its MOT in Feb with THQ V3s fitted with LEDs in all positions. They didn't even query it, think they just thought they were standard

Me too, passed first MOT in April with THQ's V3's and full LED bulbs fitted.

Did you have the mot done by an independent or vw dealer?.

Mine was just a bog standard general garage that does MOTs. I watched and they just checked the beam pattern and that everything worked. They probably didn't even realise they were aftermarket lights, maybe a VW dealer or independant specialist would be worse?

Thats what im thinking perhaps they would be hence why im gonna swap em out.
