Hi guys hope all well. After spending the last 3 years towing a caravan and literally hating every minute we have finally sold up and bought a 2016 T6 LWB with 24k on the clock. Looking to convert but wanting to have a fixed king size bed in the back, has anyone done this?

I know it will take upmost of the room but am going to put swivels on the front seats and wanting a awning with room capsule as living area.

Also it has a medium roof, does anyone know if I can still install an awning with this?

Thanks

Is it a Kombi? Something like the Exploria bed would do the job nicely, full width and full length (with rear seats folded down).

I’ve got the Wessex Kombi bed, it’s ok but the mattress is uncomfortable so I have to use an self inflating mattress.

The medium roof isn’t an issue, just get a tall version of the awning, generally the low version is for vans such as the T5/6, the tall for motorhomes and caravans I believe.

Funky Leisure are very helpful if you’re looking for any advice.

Hi, I have just got my first T6 Kombi - SWB and looking for advice for full width bed. Comfort is top priority and then space underneath to store all the toys - sups, rucksacks, etc. Usually will not have passengers and planning to remove second row of seats. Have been told rock and roll beds need mattress topper - that together with rest of bedding will take up loads of space. Wondering if I should build my own platform bed and have it set up all the time but that would block part of sliding door. Would love to hear suggestions. Thank you very much

Fab. Just had a look. Love that you can specify height you want but think I will have to get my own mattress

I’ve posted pictures of mine before- it’s a van furniture kombi bed platform
They do several different layouts, worth a look at their website
