MFSW with no ACC Startline

Hi All,

I'm wondering if you could help I have recently upgraded for a standard wheel to a multifunctional as per the picture I have wired pin 9 to the black behind the light switch and pin 10 to pin 36 on B which already had a red with yellow trace fitted also enabled using Vagcom, the buttons dont light up or work has anyone got any pointers

Have you got the correct airbag loom?
There’s a separate lot of wires (5 I think) that come off the loom to a small black plug that plugs into side of the steering wheel shroud to power the buttons.
Have you checked that you are getting 12v from the black light switch wire you’re using for power?
Also your buttons don’t appear to be the correct ones for T6.
Certainly the buttons needed for a EURO6 T6
EURO5 T6’s can use different buttons.

In my notes from doing this, I’ve got it that it goes into Pin 4 to pick up power at the light switch. Mine’s EUR5.

Looking at his clocks it does appear to be a EURO5 T6

Hang on. Plots thickens. These notes further down say pin 9 to the switch and pin 17 to the BCM, not pin 36. Is it EUR5 or 6? Think it matters for the BCM.

You’re right. Those clocks don’t look like mine did (before I went digital).

I’m pretty positive you have cracked it
I knew there were wiring differences between the EURO5’s and 6’s
