Maxtax window mount

Does anyone know where I can get these mounts please? I'm in Australia

Is that an adaptation of a surf board carrier being used for the Maxtrax?

I am not sure what they have done but I wouldn't want to hang my boards off the bonded glass!

I prefer this method of attaching them to a track bolted to the side of the van

I bolted mine on the Troopie, they are quite heavy and the vehicle gets a good pounding off road.

Yeah I'm not sure where the weight is being taken, maybe not the glass. I think that the suction cups bear most of it.
I saw the install on the blue van, its quite a job, drilling holes in the body and so on.
I liked the temporary option

Good point. I am planning on attaching them to a rear bike rack.
