Does anyone know the maximum height of leisure battery that will fit under a factory passenger single swivel seat?

Not the best of pictures but this is 190mm battery on a factory battery plate. As you can make out from the image, the terminals are pretty much level with the seat base top.

There’s probably like 1-2cm of free space in real life but I would consider anything coming over the seat base being at the risk zone. Higher batteries are usually mounted on their side.

Also factory installation has a rubber cover going on top of entire battery, that’s probably there to further reduce the risk of terminals getting into a contact with seat base mechanics.

Great, thanks. Sounds like if I want to go over 190 then laying it on its side is the way to go.

@n10n , have you got a link for that positive battery terminal? Cant seem to find it on google. I think I prefer the look of that to what I've got. Although I could replace the Allen key bolts on mine with something lower profile or flip the terminals upside down which would give me for a few more MM clearance. I've probably got about 5mm clearance between the terminals and the seat when installed in it's lowest position (I've trial fitted it) which is a bit close for comfort.1645613671280.png1645613635882.png

I don't. Mine are OEM and I couldn't find a part number for it.
