What does everyone use to protect Matt finish alloys?

I've always polished normal wheels to seal them, but I tried that with these and they went semi gloss and looked dreadful.

Polish to seal wheels? Don't you mean a wax or sealant? Polish adds no protection.

I use Gtechniq c5 wheel armor on my matt wheels, wipe on wipe off instead of leaving for a few minutes on gloss wheels. However matt lacquer doesn't bead water like gloss lacquer.

I meant that, I've used Scott's Sealant in the past. Is it just a case of getting it off quicker then?
