LV insurance; My vehicle is being dumped!

LV has just confirmed to me in writing (on their chat) for my July 2026 renewal:

unfortunately due to underwriting restrictions............we are unable to cover the VW TRANSPORTER ......It's the restriction for the vehicle not the policy holder.

I have been ensured with them for 8 or 9 years.....looks like it's time to change. I'll be scouring the forum to try and find a suitable alternative.

Allianz took them over some yesrs back. For a while LV continued to underwrite their own policies, but theyre rationalising the business and while the LV branding will continue to be aimed at private customers the mother ship will be the inderwriter. Minority customer groups like use seemingly aren't worth the hassle any more.

Vehicle is a T6 Bilbos Celex, been around for many years. It's a 2016 BiTDI 204PS DSG7 etc. Have insured with LV for several years. No reason given save only that LV are no longer interested in such vehicles. Last year premium was circa £500. Anyone have a comment and/or recommendation for alternative insurer please?

Same thing with my t6.1 22 plate lwb kombi. Went with Adrian Flux
