I know this is mainly VW T6 forum, but I know a lot of you have other cars. I'm keeping my T6 but one of my Elise's has to go.

Engine

K20A from a Civic Type R.

Rebuild by Dan at HPE Auto.

Omega pistons – 12.5CR

Clockwise valve gear and larger pin V-Tec

Increased inlet valves size

All new Honda timing chains, tensioners etc (£1000)

Mocal oil – water cooler. 1 piece silicon hoses (less joins compared to metal tubes and hose bends)

Honda Ecu with the programable PCB added.

Clockwise fuel rail and Jenvery remote FPR

HPE T45 engine mounts.

HPE exhaust and silencer (made by Ryan Edwards). Stainless over the subframe work of art.

New Honda alternator.

Made 251hp on Dan’s rollers. It drives like standard smooth car until the V-tec kicks in at 5500rpm. I think 251hp is a good balance between a really fast car and something useable.



Gearbox / drive

Rebuilt 6 speed civic box with all new bearings

LSD from a Japanese spec Honda civic – so it’s a Honda quality part.

Direct gear linkage by HPE

Lotus 2-11 gear shifter. OEM Toyota cables.

S2 interior tunnel trim

HPE drive shafts with genuine Honda CV joints (not cheap)

HPE EN24 drive hubs.



Suspension & brakes

Refreshed with power coated wishbones (dark grey).

Outer ball joints and main bearings renewed.

HPE rose jointed inner joints.

Bilstein dampers.

New Discs and road pads. New fluid and stainless hoses.



Trim

Rear subframe and longerons powder coated grey.

Chassis has no damage. It’s an early car with green glue. These early cars were very light.

Body work isn’t great. Nearly every panel has some marks or scratch. The clams are original but have been resprayed over the years, and the paint is starting to delaminate. Its not showing any signs of osmosis.

Under the LH sill the fibreglass is cracked where someone was careless with a jack. You can’t see this from the outside.

Clear front indicators.

Door beams and hinges milled to save weight.

Seats from the S190 – Carbon leather outer and blue Alcantara centre.

Carbon leather side bolsters.

Sport 190 embroidered in the seat headrest and floor mats.

Sony stereo.



Wheels

Currently on Rota slipsteam matt black wheels with Kuhmo V70 tyres (not much life left)

I have the original AWI wheels with Avon ZZRs available.



I’m on holiday 30th July to 8th August.
