loose wire

morning all - can anyone tell me what this wire is for, and where is it supposed to plug into? I've spent an hour looking for the other end. Thanks

Looks a bit like the seat belt warning sensor wire but haven’t got access to mine to double check.

I've tried driving it and it's not the seat belt sensor. I took these at out yesterday and remember unplugging it but i just can't see where it goes back

Everythig drives fine and no warning lights. Thinking maybe heated seats (which it doesn't have)?

Definitely looks like the handbrake sensor plug to me

Put the handbrake on and off and see if the red dash light comes and goes

thanks everyone. It was the hand brake sensor. Back together now.
