Loose wire in the engine bay

I noticed this loose wire in the engine bay, next to the battery the other day when I was topping up the fluids. Short of going to a auto electrician does anyone know if it should be attached?

Boo is a 2001 T6.1 150 Startline with the business pack and has been converted with the addition of a leisure battery & Victron kit.IMG_9195.jpegIMG_9194.jpeg

I haven't got it on mine that I can see. maybe mine's tucked away too. I'd be interested to know what it is too

It disappears into a loom that runs around to the back of the battery and along the firewall.
@BrizzleRocker is everything working OK with no faults etc?
I suspect someone has just forgotten to reconnect it when changing the battery, but it must be there for a reason, and theoretically create a fault code if not connected surely?

My van is a 2022 t6.1 bog standard trendline with no modifications apart from a couple of VCDS adaption changes (chirp on locking type stuff etc)

Thanks for all the replies. The only noticeable fault since it came back from the conversion is in the start/stop hasn’t worked. Looking at the pics it seems there wasn’t room for this wire after they fitted the charging kit. I think I’ll reattach it and see what happens!
