Looking to purchase a 9 seater T6

Hi. I've seen one online which is reasonable mileage, 6 years old and ticks many boxes. I suspect it is an ex rental although condition (from pictures) looks ok.

What are people's views on ex rentals? Should I avoid?

Welcome to the Forum!
In my view any vehicle purchase can be a good deal if the price is right.
The price must reflect the mileage, age, service history, general condition, any known faults and any sign that it will need work carried out soon. (E.g. cam belt)
It's usually fair to assume that an ex rental won't be quite as well looked after as a one owner "pride and joy" van, but I wouldn't avoid an ex rental - if the price is right.

Having been there, I will never again own a vehicle thats been thrashed from stone cold to the redline by a different driver each day.

Also the skimp the servicing, particularly towards the end of its life on the fleet. Oil change instead of a major service, that sort of thing.

Id personally avoid, but if you must do it get a professional RAC/AA inspection which will almost certainly be a real eye opener.
