Can’t suggest anything specific, but since moving up from a T6 to a crafter, fully self contained, we find that we never use camp sites and always park up somewhere.
When not wild camping, and in a more urban setting, we have found that car parks are bloomin’ noisy places. Anything from boisterous pub crowd getting back to their cars beyond midnight, night time liaisons right next to us through the wee hours to dog walkers at 6am.
We now almost always park in a quiet side road, tucked in alongside the first house’s long back garden fence, (if that makes sense!)
That way we often aren’t in view from any of the houses, and we avoid being in frontier a house.
Having done it once, ‘er indoors now has no qualms and we do it all the time. Van is locked and blackout blinds are down.
Being a crafter (king size bed y’know!!) we don’t use a pop top up though
I hope that helps someone…
