A good improvement
Good work, did you also get the pipe work for the 'chiller'?.
Na didn’t bother
I like that. What bits do you need for that? is it a tricky job? Cost?
The cooler pipe is a good investment
In emergency break seal!
I’ve managed to source same kit at an extremely good price and need to fit it, how complicated is it to fit and how long did it take you? Anything to watch out for?
Love to do this with mine but would prefer someone to fit for me tbh
Have a scan of a couple of the threads under this topic area, there are a few ‘how to / step by step’ descriptions of fitting the wider centre console.
I would say the most challenging part is getting the transmission tunnel plastic cover cut down to the right size. If you cut away a little at the time then you will be fine. Mine isn’t the most tidy job, but I will go back and sort that out when I’m done with my other list of van jobs.
@BiTurbo has some pictures of the piece you need to trim off
thats what I did, easy peasy
Cut 50mm off from passenger side and the front edge, leaving the drivers side alone. Refit console with a couple of screws. Now mark the bottom edge. Remove cut again and refit
Thank you for the information, I feel ashamed for trimming the wrong bit.
Where did you get yours done if you don't mind me asking?
Where a outs did you get the kits from? And how much does it cost?
Those pictures are as clear as mud lol
Have a go yourself, follow this guide it really is simple. All the answer you will need are in this thread:
Nic's Centre console swap
Speak to @Pauly. Send him a PM with what you're after and he will see what he can do.
Another tick in the box and an easy install thanks to the thread(s) Just need to recolour code the top of the dash I coded bamboo green to piano black!!!
the guy that carpeted and a few other bits and pieces did it for me, any convertor will get you the console and fit it, I wouldn't tackle it myself.
