List Of Parts For VIN

Is there a website/service where I could put in the VIN of my van & get a full list of parts for it?

Specifically I'm looking for plastic trim pieces that go around the tailgate inside the tailgate door area.

Yup. I'm a VIP Member & see a feature of "build sheet for your van" but not sure that gives the bits I'm missing from my van as I don't think they were installed when it was built.

I should have noticed you Avita and that you are a already VIP. I need to be a little more observant. You could ask someone Like @Pauly directly perhaps he always seem to know where thing might be, perhaps one could purchase something direct from VW a Parts Book even an official Workshop Manual might have all the Part Numbers. it might be available as a paper book or a file perhaps. I am only guessing. Are you going on a long range safari or doing a big build project?

There used to be a website I thought where you could search for vw parts (it would show you diagrams/pictures & part numbers). Now the only place seems to be going into a dealer & getting them to search on their system. I'd prefer to be able do my own searching first then confirm with them.

I offer parts lookup for VIP members if you need something in particular, if you are after lots of parts/info or want to do it yourself you can pay for access to somewhere like partslink24 where you can get generic pictures/lists of vehicles and parts or VIN specific listings

It's one part I think @Pauly - the surround plastic trim inside the rear tailgate. My Kombi diesn't have it so trying to find if it should be available for mine. Is it ok if I send you a DM with a photo of the location where this part seems to fit?

That is very sensible. I have had something very similar for my LR101FC possibly for the military made by Landrover but on paper.

There is no parts that go on a tailgate for a kombi or panel van, feel free to send me a pic but I suspect you are thinking of the Caravelle trim pieces
