LiFePO4 only charging to 50%

Hello,

We have a 12V 200Ah LiFePO4 battery and an Eco Worthy 30A Solar Charge Controller. The whole setup is about 1 year old.

Previously when we've left the van in the sun for a few days at home with everything switched off inside the battery controller has shown the battery has fully charged. However since our last trip it never seems to charge beyond the 50-75% range.

We tried charging it from the mains and it said that it was fully charged last night, however this morning it is back to the 50-75% range.

I've checked the manual for the charge controller and I think we have all the correct settings. Is there something you can think of that I'm missing?

Thanks,
Katy

Rather than relying on the range given by the battery controller, do you have a voltmeter? if you measure the resting voltage (i.e. no load, not just after charging) then that will give a better idea of the state of charge.

So you've charged from mains and it's still dropped which rules out the solar charger being the issue so let's concentrate on the battery and any connected loads.
Does the battery have bluetooth? If not sure, what make/model of battery?

What voltage is the battery at (without loads or charger)? What are you using to give those percentages - Bluetooth on the battery or a shunt?

Percentages are often not a reliable indicator, can go out of sync and give false readings under load. Actual resting voltage is the important bit. Depending on the setup you may be able to resync the state of charge percentage.

What are you actually using to get the percentage charge of the battery? Is it some app that's directly connected to the battery, or some external device?
