Has anyone fitted a Leisure battery underneath their van? I havent crawled underneath to see if its possible purely because its to cold out! Im sure I've seen somewhere it can be done.
Yes, I think Rod VW has his under the floor. Plenty of room, it depends on what other gubbins you want to fit under there as well like water tanks and stuff.
I think thats the route I would like to go with the battery external so I can keep the storage space under the seat Would you be able to post any photos when yours is fitted @T6dder? Or details of where your getting it fitted?
Sure. It's not being fitted until march though. If u plan to have RIB seat fitted though it's not possible as apparently support bar goes in this place. So the battery cannot be accessed easily.
Wont be fitting RIB seat so wont have that problem I'm not planning on doing mine for a few months yet will be interesting to see how its done and what sort of size battery can be fitted.
