LED light help. New to the group

Hi all,

help needed please. I have two light switches for 4 led’s. I have now put all off the leds of 1 light switch and wanting to put a led strip off the other.I have 3 connections on the switch which has the 12v feed connected and then to the lights and it isn’t working. I’m sure when I removed the two LED’s there was a cable tapped off the OEM light (brown cable) could anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks all

Oem lights will have 3 cables.

Brown - permanent -ve
brown/red - switched -ve
red/black - +ve

perhaps post a pic or drawing of what you have and we‘ll see if we can help
