Leaky tailgate.

I've just opened my tailgate to fund a leak coming from the inside panel. Is this a common VW leak area. Its something I've not noticed before and it doesn't look new compared to the OEM sliders. Any suggestions where this could be coming from before I take off the panel.

Check the high level brake light.
I had a reversing camera fitted (the one combined into the high break light) and it wasn't sealing as well as the OEM unit so had to mastic seal.
Also I think the pull handle assembly is another potential leak point on the tailgate.

Rear tailgate door drains plugged.

Brilliant, ill have a look at the thread. Im off work tomorrow so I'll investigate and look at those areas and let you know.

Just had this problem on my 2021 Kombi. All the drain holes are plugged! Gonna remove the plugs to let the water out. Think I may have got water inside when I left the tailgate up in the rain the other day and it may have got in through the handle??
