Window fitting. I've got a T6 Kombi twin sliding doors with factory flush fitting windows. As sure as night follows day the bloody things leak. I have cleaned drains and gullies, gummi fledged the seals but to no avail. Next option is to seal them up (will look crap) or replace with non opening windows. Can any body recommend a converter or window fitter in the Hull or Grimsby area please

I think carefully applied black silicon tooled with something with a radius will look neat

I purchased some non sliding windows from campers glass and not only do they not leak, they look miles better (just my opinion of course) and let loads of light into the back.
I used Bradford car glass as they are mobile but not sure if they go as far as hull. If you came over to bradford it only took them 1 hour from start to finish

I used Camper Van Conversions & Sales Coventry - Rising Sun Campers for replacement windows, a trip from Grimsby I know but they lent a courtesy car and it was only a 2 hour job. Gave up on the original windows, they were rotting my kitchen units and filling the sliding door up with water.

Did you buy the Privacy glass or total blackout glass units from Campers Glass?

I think it was about £1300 for both fitted - that’s the flush windows, the non flush were cheaper by a hundred or 2 hundred quid or so. Glad I did it.
