Never heard of them but a little research throws up:

Lavaner (Beijing) Trading Co., Ltd is located in Beijing China. The company was established in 2015

By the look of it it is just another clone of an Eberspacher, so I wouldn't expect any higher standards than the rest of them. Might be assembled in a different facility but main components all have a common source.

I had the 2kw lavaner pro in my last van. It was much better made than the generic 'maxspeedingrods' Chinese type.

Mine came from alliexpress. Specifically Lavaner parking heater store.

I had an issue with the controller which their UK support were very proactive at troubleshooting. They sent me a new controller in the end.

I've not used them but i have heard good things about them, better than standard CDH but cheaper than the big branded ones.

Fitted one in my van last year and 10 fold better than your standard CDH. While yes the castings are probably all the same all the parts and ancillaries were much better quality (Motherboard is actually resin dipped for water resistance, decen fuel line, exhaust and silencer hose clamps are heavy duty, decent air filter, branded glowplugs etc etc).
Its a great middle ground between a generic CDH and an Autoterm.

Only thing I would have really liked is it to have a brushless motor. But its also compatible with the "afterburner" controller which opens up all sorts of automation / control too.

Got mine on AliExpress, pretty certain they have a UK warehouse somewhere as it turned up a couple of days after ordering it.

I had one Professionally Installed late 2024 its never worked. What I got was a 70s Disco smoke machine which drains the leisure battery. Thus far the Glow plug and mesh have been replaced, fuel line length reduced, total clean and rebuild, Amperage is sufficient and intakes are all clean and clear plus no bubbles in the fuel line and the fuel rate has been reduced. Perhaps I got a lemon but I'm looking to switch to Nordkap or hopefully another brand that bloody works lol.

Probably needs a strip out and de-coke. Mine, the AFR (tuning) was way off that resulted in it getting very very carboned up within a couple of months. Since tuning it its been good as gold ;-)

Nope mines deffo a crock. I did mention that It has been subject to a full de-coke and subsequent rebuild with the fuel rate tuned. The guy who installed made a mistake and totally flooded it and my driveway with diesel hence strip and rebuild number one. It's worth pointing out that mine has never heated anything up nor has it ever functioned properly since day one. I may just stick a light bulb in it and try to sell it as a desk light
