Does anyone have this fridge ? It was brand new it switches on fine etc feels cold on the driveway. But when anyone goes away in the van they say it goes warm & the food goes off. when we turn it on it starts cold but then a few hours later it’s warm. Any ideas why ? It’s run off the battery I believe. The only thing that works by plugging in the mains is the one plug socket we have. Everything else is off battery. Dont know why it won’t stay cold

For some reason ours doesn’t charge the battery when on hook up. Hook up only allows a plug socket to be used in the van. It looks similar I’ve only got blue lights I haven’t seen any drainage pipes as those instructions show that Empty any condensate or overflow though

Sounds like you are renting the van out?
If the fridge door is being opened as frequently as many do at home it won’t stand a chance. It used to be called hunter gathering, now it’s grazing.

Normally there’s a plug option for the condensate line that often gets used in camper fridges, occasionally you might need to use some kitchen paper in the bottom of the fridge.

For the fridge to dissipate heat there must be gaps for airflow, normally in under the base (gap between rubber feet) and out at the higher back side of the fridge (behind) sink / worktop. The fridge manual should show this.

There’s a good gap all the way round & a void that goes into the cupboard under the sink which has a floor vent

The outlet vent needs to be at the top to allow convection, hot air rising.
There is also a finned heat exchanger on the back of the fridge, this must be clean, at accumulates dust. It’s is very fragile, clean with a soft paint brush.

Do you think this is an issue ? Maybe someone pushed it too hard and damaged it

I assume you’ve read through the manual and made sure there are no alarms and the the leisure battery and electrical connections are good?
If the fridge is running but still struggling - when it’s dark put a torch inside the fridge and check for light outside, if you can see light the door seal isn’t tight and the door hinges will need adjusting.
