Kombi board (SWB full height rear quarter ply) template

Bit of advice sought before I commit to cutting ply- I have made myself a template for what I believe is called a Kombi board, or a full height rear quarter ply board for my SWB T6. I'm a bit unsure about where I have finished it on the left side, it's basically flush with the vertical structure of the van (C pilar), is this right or should it overlap the C pilar some how?

Thanks in advance folks.

Thanks @T6Ollie that's pretty much what I thought, although I don't have anywhere to fasten to on the C Pillar side as your images indicate, maybe that's a difference between a straight T6 and a Kombi. I might glue a bit of timber to the side of C pillar to stop the panel pushing in.
There is a bracket that goes in the c pillar to attach the board to. I might have a spare one in the garage. But only pence from VW.

I actually damaged one and had to replace it, got it online somewhere. They are attached to the van with a rivet- I think for a panel van you need to drill the holes for the rivets, 2 each side
