Fitted the Kiravans double swivel with Vancraft reduced height base (heated seats) in my T6.1 today
wasn't fun but got there. Little concerned the two 40a fuses for my electric doors are now almost inaccessable. Not the best video from kiravans on fitting the seat especially wiring so spend half an hour making a drawing and photographing all connections. Had 6 large connections under the seat was a challenge to get them buried in the rebate running towards the handbrake used every cable providedfor the wiring. After getting it all reassembled was a struggle to get the seat turned had to remove the handbrake cover to get it rotated. Going to grease it more and hopefully it will get easier. Might go for the handbrake reduction kit if not. Was certainly a challenge but I think 2 inches on the seat height would have been uncomfortable I'm 6.2 so no giant but also think it looks better being the same height as the drivers seat. If anyone else wants to attempt it I'd either use a reciprocating saw or grinder on the bolts hard work with a hack saw & you will also need m10 & m12 spline bits (12 teeth) loaned one from a mechanic mate to remove/replace the back of the seat to the new base. Overall was freezing and my knees hurt but it's in ha
