Kicker 11HS8 Subwoofer and speakers

So I’ve managed to get my hands on a Kicker sub with built in amp and some speakers.
I’ve fitted the tweeters already and going to fit the rest next weekend.

I already have speakers in the rear which I will swap out for these ones so they are all the same make.

Am I able to fit this Kicker sub direct to my standard VW head unit with some kind of adaptor?

I removed this from a t6 from you r area on Friday, we can supply a simply plug and play audio output adapter, then you just need A power to the battery and a ground (under the floor carpet)

So I fitted the system today but the thing keeps tripping out once it’s cranked up, the loom has two sets of speaker cables coming to the back of the sub but only one set works. Am I missing something? I’ve checked the earth and it’s fine. I have a video but not sure how to upload it!
The pictures show me connecting the white speaker cable coming from the back of the sub to both sets of blue speaker wires from the loom and they both light up the sub with a Red then Blue led, but if I connect the grey speaker wire from the back of the sub to the blue speaker wires nothing, so what does the grey cable actually do?

Where is the power taken from, ground to?

most active setups only use 1 signal channel to power it up

I took the power direct from the battery and the ground runs from the bolt under the seat
