Keeping the rear single kombi seat????

Hello
Has anyone kept the single rear kombi seat as a backup seat for an extra bum. Getting my rock and roll bed in April and I'm going from 5 seats to 4. Me the wife and 2 kids, so fine for most of the time but occasionally we take the kids friends out too which isn't going to happen when the bed is installed. Anyone got pics of you've kept the single seat??

Nice. Thank you. I wanted to see the mounts on a finished floor. I was thinking of bringing the floor up to the top of the mounts so they are flush. Can you think of any issues that might cause.
I take it you removed the other mounts yourself. Can it be done on the drive?

Hi your cuts around the brackets would need to be accurate as the trim covers any discrepancies around the bracket
The brackets were removed when I had the heater fitted, two are easy near the drivers side I think the tank needs to be lowered for the others
Yes it’s a DIY job there’s a few good posts on here regarding dropping the tank
Hope this helps

Awesome thank you. It's a shame to take them out as they are full Sportline leather seats. I have read the odd bits on here of people dropping the ply directly on the OEM rubber insulated floor but I can't find any pictures of this being done

We have a ply guys install in our T6 Kombi. We often have the rear single seat in when we need the extra passenger potential. If we remove the bruich beag kitchen unit and Torridon extension we can put all the seats back in.
Oddly I don’t have any photos with the single seat in🤔.

Always keen on seeing kombi layouts, so please post away if you’re able! :)

I’ve just added in the double seat to my panel van so I’m still at the planning stage for layout options!

I did see these guys online. I like that floor but unfortunately the don't deliver. I'm sure they would do much more sales if they did but I guess they are happy with thier work load.
I would definitely do that floor though but with only the mounts for the single seat
I drove up from Swindon in Wiltshire to get my van converted. Camped overnight nearby snd was at the workshop as they opened the next morning. I picked my van up at the end of the day converted, then I drove back south via the T6F autumn gathering. Well worth the drive. 😃

Sounds like a great service. I'm getting my pop top done in May. They said it takes a day. I was amazed. Must be like a well oiled machine.
My van is already carpeted and I'll be doing the kitchen and electrics myself.
My bluetti has just arrived today 😁
