Hi everyone,
My last transporter was a t3 in the 90's used as a taxi, now i have just bought my 2nd one, a t6. Im looking to replace the dual passenger seat with a single one, mines an 18 model. if anyone has one for sale complete with airbag then please let me know. We didn't have the power of communication such as this forum in the 90's so im hoping this works!

Traders’ BognorMotors and SlidePods often advertise passenger captains seats on here, otherwise here’s one from a non-trader:

I’m not sure whether airbags are fitted to the passenger seats..?

Welcome to the money pit - I have also looked to change the seat but after that huge amount of storage available there is no way I would give that up now but depends what you are using it for.

As the vehicle is so big, i can easily create other storage locations but i do appreciate that the underseat storage box is a brilliant convenience, even better if it was lockable. But my priority though, lies in getting more comfortable on longer trips plus the ability to attend my grand daughter when she's is in the rear seat by way of creating a little walk through space.

Yes that was the other dilemma - as my seat is right at the back it's also a walk round to get in, however I can get through when become elastic man. As part of the conversion, storage gets tight hence why I had to weigh it all up.

Thanks for your reply, airbags are required though. If you come across another with airbags, arms and base please let me know and ill drive down to collect.
