Disqual driving should be an automatic year in prison, the sentence doubling with each subsequent offence.

And do away with the hardship mitigation in court.

The time to worry about hardship is before committing an offence, not after they've been caught.

Not sure what it’s like now but not too long ago there were apparently over ten thousand drivers on the roads with over twelve points (a few had over a hundred) that had successfully pleaded hardship.

By that point there is no point having rules. If the judges won’t enforce them they are mere guidelines.
