Isolated or non isolated Dc-Dc?

Hi there, getting all my research done pending a self build. I see all the sites like Rayne, Split charge, van junkies etc do a Victron Kit with the charger, cables, fuses etc.
Do I need the isolated or non isolated charger for a t6.1?

It’d be for a lithium battery under the drivers seat.

Also, is there much benefit in sourcing the charger and cables, fuses etc separately? 16mm cable right?

Non isolated.

But you can use either.

I found it easier to source cable, fuses etc myself rather than a kit, it gives you much more flexibility in where you put things, plus you learn how to make your own stuff. Don’t forget crimpers, cable cutters, terminals etc.
