Is this a suitable idea for fixing bed frame in place?

So I've made a bed frame which needs to be removable fairly easily so I was wondering about using turnbuckles like these https://www.diy.com/departments/diall-stainless-steel-hook-hook-turnbuckle-dia-6mm-max-100kg/1521221_BQ.prd?storeId=1238 and then and some eye bolts in the legs to secure it to the existing d-ring tie downs?

I think a much easier and neater option would be to use some webbing straps with self locking buckles.

Thanks, yes that was my first thought, but I'm not sure if they're strong enough to cope with the extra forces of a crash scenario?

The 2” x 2” wood bed will come apart first I think, there’s very little strength in softwood when shock loaded.

It’s a balance between weight and strength when it comes to fitting out a van, especially at the current diesel prices.
The furniture in my van is pretty much corrugated paper with plastic facing, very light but seems to be pretty strong.

I got a couple of 1M / 1T endless lifting slings and some shackles….I had the lifting shackles - slings were 4 quid each.

Make sure it's properly fixed down.

In a crash that bed will come flying forward with the weight of an elephant.
