Interior Lighting Cables..

Afternoon all,

I'd like to extend the cable on the OEM rear lights and tap it for the step light when j get there. Does anyone know the wire I would need to extend this and where to get it please:

1mm cable will be fine. You'd need to extend the red/black +ve wire and the brown/red -ve

Just out of interest why not extent the earth?

The courtesy lights are switched by the timed earth brown/red. the constant earth - brown would mean the step lights will be constantly on.
