Back when we were tent camping at music festivals with our children about 6 & 8 they were almost squashed by two youths who decided to sleep on the side of our tent.
And three tents away, on opening day, a guys briefcase gas cooker blew up, highlighting the need for a bit of space between tents in glorious fashion.
Bless him, he came back from A&E all bandages up and carried on partying!

It's human nature, to fill in the space in the middle, IE in the carpark or camp field..... I would have parked somewhere midway between the existing vans.
So I suppose he's the guy who walks into the urinals and pees next to you when the whole block are free......

Nah, safe as houses, there's always some of us knocking about, never had an issue in 4 years...
Other spots are available at Camper Jam. We were ridiculously close to the neighbours, but away from the scrum of club camping.
