How can you tell if you van is ceramic coated?

Just be out with a clay mitt, and all tar spot etc just lifted of without any effort, so was thinking if it is ceramic coated? as I have a auto glym ceramic kit ready to apply, but no point if it's already done.

Take a swab with sterile water and send it to a chemist for analysis.

Otherwise if it's slick and repelling water and dirt then whatever may be on there is clearly effective. I'd be inclined to leave it for now and reassess before the onset of autumn weether.

come to think of it, I've only washed the van once in 12 months of owning it, so sounds promising
