Hi,
First time post.
Just crawled under my 2016 T6 as loosing coolant very slowly and wanted to see if I could spot where it was coming from before booking in to a garage and noticed a small hole by one of the bolts on the underneath of the engine / gearbox where I can see a cog.
It looks like it’s meant to be there, and everything is running fine.
Just curious if it is normal as to me it seems odd.
Bear in mind I am not a mechanic and have all my work done in a garage, I’m a curious electrical engineer so feel free to have a good chuckle at my expense if I have just asked the most obvious thing in the world to someone who knows what they are looking at!
