Hilo Roof With Rib Rock And Roll Bed

Hi everyone

I'm looking at getting my new T6 converted. I was originally thinking of the skyline roof and RIB bed but have recently seen an Hilo Roof which does look a lot better. Can anyone advise on the head space when using a RIB bed and are the Hilo Roof a very good quality as there are not the cheapest around.

Quote from their website:
The height at the front of a LWB is 140.7cms and the height at the front of a SWB is 130.5cms.

The height at the rear lift (bedroom area) for both the LWB & SWB of the HiLo is 52cms with a reduction of just 4.8cms when the bed is down. If you are converting a factory Caravelle or Shuttle, you actually gain a couple of mm’s in height by installing a HiLo. @HiLo Roofs

IMO the HiLo roof is the best low-profile after market roof but this also only depends on the fitter! Do your research on who to use, not just the closest to your location.

Rob,
As Fish said, do your research. And by doing that, pop in to some fitters and have a try out of vans with seats fitted - you’re bound to fine a few fitters with vans in that have different make beds.

For what it’s worth my Cali ¾ bed is fine with a HiLo.
