I'm going to do exactly the same thing gmaster, but I've got a sportline spoiler to remove as well, so I was thinking of letting the stealers do it.i know this dosent help you, but if any tips come up here I might have a go myself too
Once all bolts are removed from inside the arch and grill area pull the bumper hard. I mean seriously hard. It's clipped in on every inch of the bumper. Being a sissy won't move out. Grab the bumper corner and pull. Pull harder than you do when you're alone.
I done mine. It does help if you have another pair of hands when taking the bumper off, saves doing any damage. Its not hard theirs a few screws underneath and couple behind the front arch covers which you can get to without removing the arch cover, then a big pull as ratty says. I am sure if you ask nicely @Loz has the drawing which shows how it all goes together.
I have a lower front splitter to add, which will now be put on whilst the front bumper is off. That should be much easier than trying to fit it whilst the number is still not he van. Are there any other jobs that are worth doing whilst the front bumper is off?
@Loz would you mind sharing the diagram of how the front bumper is pieced together please?
@a5cyt I think your sportline bumper would just come off at the same time, as it's bonded to the main bumper.
