That’s why I replace it with the golf DSG. The only thing I don’t like is when I change up or down than get to a junction it doesn’t go back to auto so it holds in the gear I put it in say 3rd.My original wheel didn't come with paddles but the new golf r one did and awesome with the remap

When you come to the junction just knock the dsg stick into manual then back into auto just resets,That’s why I replace it with the golf DSG. The only thing I don’t like is when I change up or down than get to a junction it doesn’t go back to auto so it holds in the gear I put it in say 3rd.

I do that but sometimes I forget. On the motorway and use it it drops back to auto after a few minutes. I just assumed it s not worth using around the doors at slower speeds.
A long (2 second) pull of the right lever puts it back into auto. That’s why I replace it with the golf DSG. The only thing I don’t like is when I change up or down than get to a junction it doesn’t go back to auto so it holds in the gear I put it in say 3rd.
