Yes but I’ll go do it again.

The only thing is when I do the security it doesn’t like it since the upgrade.

VCDS shouldn't screen security code but simply pass the code to controller.
Which controller? What's the exact message you get? But you managed to change the adaptation in 09-Central Electrics.

VCDS shouldn't screen security code but simply pass the code to controller.
Which controller? What's the exact message you get? But you managed to change the adaptation in 09-Central Electrics.

ok downgraded the software and things seam to working better with VCDS!

Attached are some more adaption scans. when i go back to change the setting i changed before it now lets me put in the security code and when i go to change the adaption it says vehicle speed is too fast.

What else can I look at to give me an idea what’s stopping out for working??

Is there any basic settings needing set extra??

Or any way to check sensor figures ect.

The symbol on the dash doesn’t come up now when you push the stalk forward.

This is strange - the HBA receives the command to activate via CANbus. In the dash (where the symbol should be) 17-Instruments there is a fault "Function Restricted due to Interrupted Communications"? Worth to investigate?

As I'm not owner of a T6.1 I don't know all the fancy things available - can you set "user profiles" somewhere - in Infotainment unit?
In one of the profiles the HBA is set as "not active", as well as light intensity setting deviates from the others? The profiles 1 & 2 are not from factory.

Couldn’t find anything to switch it off as a user but I did think it might be a good idea to do a factory reset on the info unit and all of a sudden it worked.

Where did you did the list of profile settings?

When I say factory reset. That’s what I pushed in the infotainment system menus and cleared the user profiles and boom!!
